How to Connect Your WordPress Site to Lovarank

The Lovarank WordPress plugin creates a secure connection between your Lovarank account and your WordPress site. Once connected, you can publish articles directly from Lovarank to WordPress without logging into your WordPress admin panel. This streamlines your content publishing workflow and keeps everything in one place.


How to Use It


Step 1: Enter Your WordPress URL


  1. In your Lovarank account, navigate to the WordPress integration setup page
  2. In the Your WordPress Website URL field, enter your full WordPress site URL starting with https://
  1. Choose your Publishing Behavior:
  • Publish Immediately - Articles go live as soon as you publish from Lovarank
  • Save as Draft - Articles are saved as drafts for you to review in WordPress before publishing


Step 2: Install the Lovarank Plugin


  1. Click the Install Lovarank Plugin button (this will open your WordPress admin in a new tab)
  2. On the WordPress plugin page, click Install Now
  3. Once installation completes, click Activate
  4. You'll be automatically redirected to the Lovarank plugin setup page in WordPress


Step 3: Configure the Plugin


  1. In the WordPress plugin setup page, locate the Integration Token field
  2. Go back to your Lovarank tab and copy the integration token shown (format: wp_64u2cpic7b9n12z4mt6qacrddbgb7086)
  3. Paste this token into the Integration Token field in WordPress
  4. Click Save to establish the connection
  5. Return to your Lovarank tab and click Test Connection & Create Integration


If the test succeeds, your WordPress site is now connected!


Common Issues & Fixes


"Unable to install plugin" error

  • Make sure you're logged into WordPress as an administrator
  • Check that your WordPress site allows plugin installations
  • Verify your hosting provider hasn't restricted plugin installations


"Invalid token" error

  • Ensure you copied the entire token without extra spaces
  • The token is case-sensitive - copy it exactly as shown
  • Try generating a new integration if the token has expired


"Connection failed" error

  • Verify your WordPress URL is correct and includes https://
  • Check that the Lovarank plugin is activated in WordPress
  • Ensure your WordPress site is publicly accessible (not in maintenance mode)
  • Confirm your hosting firewall isn't blocking API connections


Plugin activated but not appearing in WordPress

  • Refresh your WordPress admin page
  • Check under Settings → Lovarank in your WordPress dashboard
